Kevin Hays is a 5th generation Mobilian with over 25 years of experience practicing law. His practice is concentrated in the areas of criminal defense and real estate. Kevin has represented hundreds of clients in state, federal and municipal courts in cases involving drug charges, DWI/DUI, sex crimes, property crimes, and crimes involving physical violence. He has achieved many favorable results for his clients and is known for being a tough negotiator with prosecutors. Kevin is licensed to practice law in Alabama and Texas and is further admitted to practice in the federal courts of the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Alabama, as well as the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Kevin graduated from the University of Alabama in 1987. During his college years, Kevin was a member of the Crimson Tide football team under Coach Ray Perkins. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1990. He was an SEC and ACC baseball umpire from 1987-98 and umpired the College World Series in 1998. He also officiated high school football and basketball for 25 years. He and his wife Suzan reside in the Daphne area, and his hobbies include watching college football, playing his guitar, and shooting pistols at his favorite local gun range.
